Mosaic is officially live. Built over years and shaped by real projects, ready for you to start building.

Mosaic Manifesto

WordPress wasn’t built for how we build today.

Themes, page builders, plugins. Each solves part of the problem, but never the whole workflow. You either move fast in a visual builder, or stay close to the web and move slower. That gap has been there for years. Mosaic is our answer to it.

Working around limitations

Building with WordPress often means working around limitations. Page builders get you results fast, but they don’t scale well. Themes define structure, but lock you in. Plugins fill the gaps, but add complexity. Everything works. But the pieces don’t really fit together.

When it clicks

The idea behind Mosaic is simple. You shouldn’t have to choose between speed and structure, or between visual editing and real web fundamentals. Not because of a single feature, but because everything finally works as one.

A visual workflow built on real web fundamentals.

Mosaic brings structure, design, and logic into a single system. You’re working visually, but everything stays grounded in how the web actually works. No abstraction. No hidden layers. Just structure, classes, and logic that scale.

Working with class systems and full CSS, directly in the visual editor.

One system instead of many

Mosaic takes a different approach from the ground up. Not by adding more, but by rethinking how the whole system works. It’s about how everything fits together into a single system.

WordPress didn’t need another page builder plugin.
It needed a better way to build websites visually.

The theme builder defines how your site works. The visual editor lets you design directly. The design system keeps everything consistent as it grows. Individually, these ideas aren’t new. Together, they change how the workflow feels.

A different way to build

Most builders force a choice. You either work visually and lose structure, or stay close to code and lose speed. Mosaic sits between those two worlds.

Instead of stacking styles, Mosaic uses a structured, class-based approach. Your design stays consistent, reusable, and easy to manage as it grows. It supports both semantic and utility workflows, so you are not locked into a single way of thinking.

You don’t start from a blank page. Mosaic comes with ready-made themes and a built-in design system, so you are starting from something that already makes sense.

Interactions are not an afterthought. They’re part of the workflow, built to work naturally with your layout and logic.

Built on experience

At Nextend, we’ve been building tools in this space for over 14 years. What started as a small university project now powers over one million websites, including brands like Boeing and Ubisoft. Mosaic is built on that experience.

The team behind Nextend. Building tools for over 14 years.

Built for creators

Different ways of thinking. Same goal. Building something that actually works. Designers get control without losing consistency. Developers move faster without losing clarity. Builders can scale systems, not just pages. And if you’re just getting started, you’re learning by building real things, picking up how the web actually works along the way.

Shaped by real users

Mosaic didn’t happen in isolation. Nearly 4,000 beta users tested it in real projects, pushed its limits, and helped shape what it is today. That’s how Mosaic really came alive. Not in theory, but in real projects, shaped by real users. Built on what worked, refined by what didn’t.

Feedback from early Mosaic users during the beta.

What we shipped in Q1

Q1 was about turning that feedback into something real. We redesigned onboarding, introduced Page Kits as a new starting point, and made the setup faster and more flexible. The editor became smoother and more predictable, and the core systems became stronger. Every quarter, we’ll share a short update with what we’ve shipped and what’s coming next.

Forms are already in progress, and just one of the next steps.

Early days, early price

Mosaic is officially live, with early bird pricing available for a limited time. We kept things simple with three plans. Start with a single site, scale to more, or go unlimited. All annual plans are free for the first year.

After that, they continue at the regular yearly price. Lifetime plans are also available at early bird pricing. If you’re not fully sure yet, the best way is to try it on a real project. If it’s not for you, you can cancel anytime. If it clicks, scaling up becomes the natural next step.

This is where it starts

Not finished. Not perfect. But already powerful. And already yours to build with.
