Dashboard

Mosaic is accessible directly from the WordPress admin menu. Its dashboard is integrated into the WordPress admin area and provides a clean, structured interface for navigating Mosaic’s features. From here, you can access all core functionalities and manage your setup through a centralized control panel.
Menu panel

The same menu points are also accessible from the Mosaic Menu panel, available within the Editor. This makes it easy to move between different sections while editing your website.
The Navigate to tool allows you to quickly search and access various elements within your WordPress site and Mosaic. You can find items such as WordPress pages and posts or Mosaic templates and components, ensuring a more efficient and streamlined workflow.
The Exit to WordPress button takes you back to the Dashboard at any time.

System requirements
Platform
WordPress 5.0 or greater (WordPress 6.x is supported.)
We only support traditional WordPress websites! There are “Headless CMS” and other systems, which are modifying the core of these platforms to use completely different codes. We do not support these kind of special systems!

- PHP VERSION: The minimum required version is PHP 7.x or greater (PHP 8 is supported.). Mosaic won’t run on older PHP versions.
If a framework doesn’t supports a PHP version, we cannot support it either!
- Upload limitation: Minimum 8MB to be able to install Mosaic by uploading the zip file. If the limitation is smaller, or you’re not sure about the value, ask your host!
- Component: GD – Graphics directory. Usually it is enabled on every web-server, but if not, feel free to ask your hosting provider. They will enable it for you. Make sure they also enable the WebP support!
- Component: CURL. It needed for the activation, import and update.
- Memory limit: 64M. If your php info says that you have a lower memory limit, contact your server host and ask them to change it to 64M or 128M. If you have several plugins on your site you might need 128M or even 256M memory.
- Server security: Our back-end uses base64 encoding in the back-end to be able to post any kind of variables. If your server has a base64 security filtering, ask them to turn it off.

- DOM extension
SQL type
The required MYSQL version is 4.0 or greater.
Supported browsers
Backend
We support the latest versions of computer browsers for Mosaic: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera.
Only computer browsers. Touch screen editing is not supported!
Frontend
Mosaic supports the latest versions of browsers, which have major releases made in the past 2 years: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Android and iOS browsers. Older browsers are outdated and usually don’t support modern coding standards, so Mosaic is unable to support them.
Limitations
- Microsoft Edge: Due to the issues in Edge, Microsoft released a whole new Edge version in January, 2020. Mosaic only supports this Edge version, which uses Chromium engine.
- Internet Explorer: Mosaic doesn’t support Internet Explorer browser at all.
- Windows Safari: The Windows version of Safari wasn’t developed since 2012, and it has many known problems, so we don’t support it either.
